Ground Cover Perennials for Sun

	Sedum – A very drought tolerant succulent, sedum comes in many varieties adding great texture and color contrast to rock gardens or perennial beds
	Icepant – A spreading perennial succulent that begins flowering in the Spring and continues through the fall. Small, vibrant, daisy-like flowers come in a variety of colors.
	Evening Primrose – A drought tolerant hardy perennial spreads up to 3’. Golf ball size cup shaped pink or yellow flowers start in June and continue through October. Great for rock gardens. Can reseed in some areas.
	Snow in Summer – A trailing perennial gets covered in white flowers in spring. Dense blue/gray foliage adds great color contrast throughout the growing season.
	Creeping Phlox – Another trailing perennial that flowers profusely in the early spring providing a carpet of many different colors. Grassy foliage adds to texture contrast when flowers are not present.
	Basket of Gold – As its name suggest this perennial produces a mat of gold flowers. Can grow up to 2 1/2‘. Great or retaining walls or raised planters.
	Creeping Thyme – Thyme is very drought, heat, and traffic tolerant perennial herb. There are several varieties to choose from to add different foliage and flower color. This plant is Steppable making it excellent for between pavers or rock on walkways.
