Small Trees (Patio Trees)

Nick's carries thousands of species and varieties of plants suited for our climate including many difficult to find items. Below or only SOME of the more popular selections.

Big Cis Plum

  • Big Cis Plum – A tree form of the common Cistena Plum shrub, this small tree only grows 14’ tall by 12’ wide at maturity. With very low maintenance its purple foliage and pink spring flowers are a great choice brighten up small patio gardens, planter boxes or flowerbeds.

Coral Burst Crabapple

  • Coral Burst Crabapple – This tree has dark red buds that open to white flowers providing great color contrast in one tree. Mature height and width is 10’x10’.

Rose of Sharron

  • Tree Form Rose of Sharron – A late blooming small tree growing narrow and upright to only 6-10’. This shrub/tree is an excellent addition to add color late summer into the fall when most plants have finished blooming for the season

Twisty Baby Locust

  • Twisty Baby Locust – A smaller contorted version of a black locust. Grows 12’ tall with similar width with white flowers in Spring. Twisting contorted branch habit makes for all year long interest.
